Why I started Daisy Plays

Hi, I'm Hannah.

For years, other parents have been asking me some version of the question "is my child on track or not?" So, I decided to package up everything I know as a speech therapist, and have shared these speech therapy secrets with you in a simple, snackable video format.
2015
Graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech-& Language Therapy.

Today, I am certified in both the US and Ireland by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists (IASLT).

Married the love of my life.

Had our first daughter, Daisy.

Daisy was repeating and imitating every gesture and word by 13 months. She began speaking in 3 word sentences by 15 months. How? Because I knew how to interact with her at home in a way that would develop her communication.
Apple or banana? 
2023
Along came our son, Sam. At 6 months Sam was babbling, recognising his name and skaking his head for “no”.

Is he a genius? Maybe?! But I think it’s more related to the fact of knowing just how to interact with him!
